Finding a quiet, secluded in the UK that hasn't become a hotspot can be difficult, especially if you're after golden sands, crystal clear waters, and stunning coastal views. Some of the most popular beaches in the UK that offer those are Porthcurno Beach, , Bournemouth Beach, , Holkham Beach, Norfolk, and Barafundle Bay, Pembrokeshire. One beach many people may not have heard of that remains somewhat of a hidden gem is Studland Bay in Dorset.

Unlike its crowded neighbours, and Sandbanks, Studland Bay has remained relatively untouched and is the perfect spot for a summer dip. The hidden beach boasts a stunning four miles of unspoilt sands with sheltered waters, all backed by dunes and low cliffs.

The bay comprises four National Trust-owned beaches: Shell Bay, Knoll Beach, Middle Beach and South Beach.

All the beaches at Studland are dog-friendly, with pooches welcome throughout the year, making it the perfect spot for dog owners who want to enjoy a peaceful coastal stroll with their pets.

The beach looks out over the chalk formations of Old Harry Rocks, a part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

For those staying in the nearby towns of Poole and Bournemouth, Studland Bay is less than an hour away by car and is a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the busy seaside towns.

Recently, Studland Bay has been dubbed, 'Bournemouth's playground for the rich' by TikTok users, according to the travel experts at LateRooms.com.

The experts claim travel influencers are enamoured with the area's unspoilt beaches and stunning views.

Located just a stone's throw from the UK's most expensive seaside neighbourhood, Sandbanks, it's hardly surprising that residents have decided to explore further afield.

Matthew Fox, the CEO of LateRooms.com, said: "Here in the UK, many of us dream of coastal coves and hidden bays, but for years, we've overlooked some of our own spectacular coastal gems.

"Studland Bay is one of those places. The beach feels almost untouched compared to more popular British beaches, and it's a far cry from the crowded seafronts of more traditional seaside destinations.

"On a warm summer's day, you could be in a tropical paradise-sweeping sandy beaches, crystal-clear waters, and stunning views over Old Harry Rocks.

"It's an area of outstanding natural beauty that allows visitors to unwind and reconnect with nature as they escape the hustle and bustle.

"The best time to appreciate Studland Bay and its unspoilt charm is to visit outside of the school holidays, where you can enjoy coastal walks and wildlife spotting in peace and tranquillity."
