JDA demands Central Health Protection Act for doctors

Ranchi: Junior Doctor's Association (JDA) of Rims expressed strong disapproval of the violent incident involving Dr Harsh, an orthopaedic surgeon at Jims, a private Hospital in Dhanbad, who was attacked by attendants and miscreants at his workplace on Sunday. JDA president Dr Ankit Kumar stated, "Doctors are hailed as saviors yet targeted when outcomes fail. This brutality is unacceptable." The JDA emphasised the critical requirement for change, calling for the Centre to establish a Central Health Protection Act to ensure the safety of healthcare professionals.
