JEE Main 2025: NTA issues important notice on photograph corrections, check details here

JEE Mains 2025: The National Testing Agency ( NTA ) has issued a notice regarding discrepancies in the images uploaded by candidates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025 Session 1. Candidates can upload the correct photograph until today, January 17, 2025 (up to 11:50 PM). NTA will conduct Session 1 of JEE Main 2025 from January 22 to January 30, 2025.

The official notice reads, ‘It has been observed that the photographs uploaded by candidates for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025 Session 1 have not been found as per the required specifications. It has been decided to give an opportunity to such candidates to upload the photograph as per the required to avoid rejection of the application.’

As per the notice, candidates whose photos are to be changed will be informed about it by message on registered email id and SMS on mobile number.

Specifications for candidate’s photograph to be uploaded:

  • Passport size photographs should be between 10 KB to 300 KB.
  • The recent photograph should be in colour with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background.
  • The photograph should be named ‘photograph’ and should be in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Spectacles are allowed only if being regularly
  • Polaroid and computer-generated images are not acceptable
  • The photograph need not to be attested
  • As per the notice, applications without photographs as per the NTA’s specifications will be rejected.
