Dharmasthala: Bee attack leaves several hospitalized
Dharmasthala: Several people were injured after being stung by honeybees in Ajikuri village on February 26.
The injured identified as Ismail (70), Shahjahan (52), Shamil (13), Mustafa (29), Shahida (53), Padmavathi (62), and Shivanna (55), were admitted to a private hospital in Ujire for treatment.
The attack occurred around 8 AM, affecting residents inside their homes as well. At around 10 AM, another swarm of bees attacked the locals, causing panic in the area.
Even after the incident, bees continued to hover in the vicinity, instilling fear among residents who hesitated to step outside their homes. The forest department personnel arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection.
