A non-cognisable offence was registered at Kopri police station against Kedar Dighe, the Sena (UBT) candidate from the Kopri-Pachpakhadi assembly constituency, and his workers.

According to a complaint, foreign liquor bottles and 26 packets containing Rs 2,000 each were allegedly found in a vehicle belonging to one of Dighe's workers. However, Dighe denied these allegations, claiming that it is an attempt to defame him. Dighe is contesting the polls against CM Eknath Shinde.
