If you are a retired government employee, submitting a life certificate is mandatory to continue receiving your pension. Pensioners can easily submit their life certificates online using biometric technology, such as face recognition, fingerprint, or iris scanning, through the Jeevan Pramaan and Aadhaar Face RD apps. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

  • Phone and Internet Requirements: Ensure your phone has at least a 5MP camera and an active internet connection. Your Aadhaar details must also be updated with the pension authority (bank or post office).
  • Download Necessary Apps: Download the AadhFaceRD and Jeevan Pramaan Face apps from the Google Play Store.
  • Complete Operator Authentication: Once the apps are downloaded, complete the authentication process by verifying your face using the phone’s front camera.
  • Enter Required Information: Provide the necessary personal details on the app and submit your information.
  • Submit the Face Scan: Take a photo of your face using the phone’s camera, and then submit the details.
  • Download the Certificate: After submission, a download link will be sent to your registered mobile number. Use this link to download the Jeevan Pramaan certificate.
  • Aadhaar Details: For Aadhaar verification, you will need to provide your Aadhaar number and VID (Virtual ID) when submitting the digital life certificate .

    If you need help with submitting your biometric details, you can seek assistance from the Indian Post Payment Bank’s Gramin Dak Sevak and Postman services using the Postinfo app. This service requires a small fee of Rs 70.

    For those who prefer to use this service from home, you can call the toll-free number to request a visit. A charge of Rs 75 will apply for the home service.

    Additional Submission Options

    Pensioners also have the option to visit their nearest Common Service Center (CSC) to get their Jeevan Pramaan certificate processed.
