Jeevan Pramaan 2025: How To Submit Your Digital Life Certificate

Pensioners across India must submit their Digital Life Certificate (DLC)—also called Jeevan Pramaan—every year to ensure uninterrupted pension payments. The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) has announced the fourth nationwide DLC campaign, running from 1st to 30th November 2025, covering over 2,000 districts and sub-divisional headquarters.

Senior citizens aged 80 and above can submit their certificates starting 1st October 2025, allowing them an early window to avoid last-minute hassles.

What is Jeevan Pramaan?

Jeevan Pramaan is an Aadhaar-based digital life certificate that uses biometric verification to confirm a pensioner’s existence. This ensures pension credits continue directly to their bank accounts. It is not a one-time process; submission is required annually.

How to Submit Your Digital Life Certificate

Pensioners have multiple options to submit their DLC:

  • Online via Jeevan Pramaan Portal: Log in with Aadhaar number and biometrics to generate the certificate.
  • Home visits by banks or India Post Payments Bank (IPPB): For those unable to visit a centre.
  • Doorstep banking: Certain banks offer home services for elderly or infirm pensioners.
  • Designated officials: Pensioners can also submit in person to authorised officers.

The submission requires basic pensioner details such as Aadhaar number, PPO number, bank account, and pension sanctioning authority. Previously submitted DLC information is often auto-filled for convenience.

Organisations Involved

The campaign is run in collaboration with 19 Pension Disbursing Banks, IPPB, Pensioners’ Welfare Associations (PWAs), CGDA, DoT, Railways, UIDAI, and MeitY. Additionally, 57 registered PWAs assist in mobilising pensioners and organising local camps, ensuring access even in remote areas and hospitals.
